About the Role

As a Battle Management C2 Communications Manager 3, you will oversee the planning, implementation, and optimization of communications systems integral to battle management platforms. Your expertise will ensure reliable, secure data flow across complex command and control networks that support military operations and strategic initiatives. You'll collaborate with engineering, systems, and operations teams to address technical challenges, improve system performance, and maintain compliance with stringent defense standards.

What You'll Do

• Manage communications architecture for battle management systems, ensuring seamless integration across distributed networks
• Develop and execute communications strategies aligned with program requirements and defense protocols
• Lead cross-functional teams in troubleshooting and resolving complex C2 network challenges
• Oversee security compliance, data integrity, and communications redundancy across systems
• Coordinate with stakeholders to translate operational needs into technical communications solutions
• Mentor junior engineers and support continuous process improvement initiatives
• Travel up to 25% of the time to support customer engagements, testing, and field operations

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in communications management, C2 systems, or military/defense network operations
• Proven expertise in battle management systems, tactical communications, or related command and control platforms
• Strong technical foundation in network design, protocol implementation, and data security
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing technical teams or complex programs
• Ability to obtain or maintain a security clearance (no clearance required to start)
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences
• Active Top Secret clearance or higher is a significant advantage
