About the Role
This is an exciting leadership opportunity based at our Hamilton Campus to shape teaching excellence and learning innovation across the University of Waikato. The role involves strategic planning, policy development, and collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance educational outcomes.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead initiatives in teaching design and innovation
- Collaborate with academic departments to develop innovative learning strategies
- Oversee the implementation of new pedagogical approaches
- Work closely with faculty members to improve curriculum delivery
- Ensure alignment with institutional goals and national standards
Skills & Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in educational leadership
- A deep understanding of teaching design and innovation principles

- Excellent organizational and project management capabilities
- A relevant postgraduate qualification in education or a related field is highly desirable
