About the Role

As an Artist, Figure Finish, you will safeguard the visual integrity and working function of the animated characters, scenic elements, and props featured throughout the Rides and Shows at NBC Universal. Working hands-on in Edgewood, Orange County, you'll blend painting, sculpting, and fabrication know-how to ensure every guest-facing asset performs and presents at its best.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean, restore, and repair skins, shells, costumes, props, and set pieces to retain their intended look and feel.
• Install figures and scenic components, and apply finishing and painting techniques to match the original design aesthetic.
• Provide and manage access points into figures and assets so Ride and Show Mechanics can complete their work.
• Apply specialized methods, materials, and tools — including silicone work — to maintain durability and appearance.
• Collaborate with maintenance and technical teams to keep attractions show-ready.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with finishing, painting, and detailing of figures, props, or themed scenic elements.
• Working knowledge of the techniques, materials, and tools used in silicone application and related fabrication.
• Strong eye for color matching, texture, and surface finish to preserve original aesthetics.
• Comfort working on-site in a fast-paced, hands-on attractions environment.
• Ability to coordinate with mechanics and cross-functional teams to support safe asset access.
