Apprentice Boilermaker

Position Summary

We are seeking an Apprentice Boilermaker to join our Infrastructure and Operations team at the Boilermaker Workshop in Webb Drive, Bohle. This is a 48-month term position working part-time (9 day fortnight, 38 hours per week) with a salary range of $55,580 - $73,040 per annum, based on schooling level completion, years out of school, and age upon commencement.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the fabrication and assembly of boilers and pressure vessels
• Participate in the maintenance and repair of industrial equipment
• Follow detailed instructions to ensure safety and quality standards are met
• Work closely with experienced boilermakers to gain practical experience
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations

Skills & Qualifications

• Completed or nearing completion of Year 10 schooling
• Aged between 15-24 years at the time of commencement
• Demonstrated interest in mechanical engineering and fabrication processes
• Potential for further education or training in boilermaking
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Basic computer literacy (e.g., Microsoft Office)
