Role Overview

We are seeking a qualified beginner to join our team at Alfriston Early Learning in Manurewa. This is an exciting opportunity for a new graduate teacher to contribute to the development and care of young children in a supportive and fun environment.

Key Responsibilities

• To provide high-quality early childhood education and care services to children aged 0-5 years old
• To plan, implement, and evaluate educational programs that foster holistic child development
• To establish positive relationships with parents and caregivers to ensure effective communication and collaboration
• To maintain a safe and nurturing environment for all children in line with health and safety standards
• To participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge

Who We're Looking For

• A qualified early childhood teacher with a New Zealand Early Childhood Teacher Registration (NZETR) or equivalent qualification
• Demonstrated passion for working with young children and commitment to their well-being
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• The ability to work as part of a team and independently in a fast-paced environment
• A strong understanding of early childhood education principles and practices
