About This Position

The AI Solutions Engineer, Agentic Automation role sits at the intersection of applied artificial intelligence and enterprise process design. Based in Toronto, ON, this full-time position focuses on turning agentic AI concepts into reliable, production-ready automation that teams can depend on day to day. You will partner with stakeholders to understand operational needs and translate them into agent-driven solutions that improve efficiency and decision quality across real business scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and refine agentic AI systems that automate multi-step business processes
• Prototype AI agents capable of tool use, planning, and reliable task completion across workflows
• Integrate large language models and agent frameworks with internal systems and APIs
• Analyse existing operations to identify high-value opportunities for agentic automation
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and domain experts to keep solutions accurate, secure, and maintainable
• Evaluate emerging agent frameworks, orchestration patterns, and evaluation methods for quality and safety
• Document architectures, prompts, agent behaviours, and operational runbooks so others can own and extend the work
• Support continuous improvement of deployed agents through monitoring, testing, and iterative refinement

Qualifications

• Solid experience engineering AI solutions, with hands-on work involving large language models or autonomous or semi-autonomous agents
• Proficiency in Python or comparable languages used for AI prototypes and production services
• Working knowledge of agentic patterns such as tool calling, multi-agent coordination, planning loops, and retrieval-augmented approaches
• Familiarity with workflow automation, API integration, and connecting models to real enterprise systems
• Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into clear technical designs for agent-based automation
• Strong communication skills for engaging both technical colleagues and non-technical stakeholders
• Practical understanding of evaluation, guardrails, and responsible deployment of AI agents in production settings
• Degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience delivering AI solutions
