About the Role
This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on complex fire alarm systems across commercial, industrial, and institutional properties throughout the Louisville area. What You'll Do
- Install fire alarm systems, including control panels, detectors, manual stations, and notification devices
- Perform routine and emergency service calls, diagnosing and repairing system malfunctions
- Conduct system testing, programming, and commissioning on various fire alarm platforms
- Read technical blueprints, schematics, and fire codes to ensure compliant installations
- Document work accurately and maintain detailed service records
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and coordinate with building owners and fire marshals
- Stay current with fire code changes and industry safety standards
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience installing and servicing fire alarm systems
- Strong knowledge of fire alarm technology, control panels, and notification systems
- Ability to read technical drawings and understand electrical schematics
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for service calls
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to safety protocols
- Professional communication and customer service abilities
- Physical capability to climb ladders, work at heights, and lift equipment
