As an Admissions Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that students have what they need to succeed on their educational journey.
Your Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with prospective students and guide them through the admissions process
- Provide comprehensive support with financial aid processes (e.g., FAFSA) and other enrollment-related services
- Offer career guidance and support to help students navigate their educational and professional paths
- Collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals to ensure seamless student experiences
- Innovate and contribute to the growth and success of Gateway U as part of a new, impactful endeavor
Qualifications
- A minimum of an AA or Bachelor's degree is required; high school diploma also accepted
- At least 2 years of experience in admissions, advising, recruitment, customer service, or a related student-facing role is preferred
- U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident status is required
- Experience with financial aid processes (e.g., FAFSA) is beneficial but not mandatory
- A passion for the power of education to break down barriers and create opportunities for students
- Strong relationship-building skills and a problem-solving mindset are essential
