Admission Counselor, Marketing Specialist

Saint Mary's College seeks a full-time Admission Counselor and Marketing Specialist to join our Office of Admission in Notre Dame, Indiana. In this role, you'll shape our student recruitment pipeline by connecting with prospective students, building relationships with secondary and post-secondary institutions, and amplifying Saint Mary's College's mission through strategic outreach and marketing initiatives.

About the Role

As Admission Counselor and Marketing Specialist, you'll serve as a key representative for Saint Mary's College, balancing hands-on admissions counseling with strategic marketing efforts. You'll engage prospective students and their families, represent the College at recruitment events across the region, and help build awareness of Saint Mary's distinctive educational experience.

What You'll Do

• Conduct recruitment visits at high schools and community colleges, building relationships with counselors and educational partners
• Lead virtual information sessions and engage prospective students across digital platforms
• Develop marketing materials and communications that support recruitment objectives and strengthen brand awareness
• Support the admissions process through student outreach, application review, and enrollment conversion
• Attend college fairs and recruitment events to represent Saint Mary's College
• Identify recruitment opportunities and contribute to enrollment strategy and goal-setting
• Maintain detailed records and communicate enrollment metrics to the admissions team

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Proven interpersonal skills and comfort engaging with diverse audiences
• Experience in college admissions, student recruitment, higher education marketing, or related fields
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Willingness to travel regularly for recruitment events and campus visits
• Proficiency with office software, CRM platforms, and emerging communication tools
