About the Role
You'll serve as a dedicated classroom educator, stepping in to deliver instruction and maintain a positive learning environment when regular teachers are absent. Based from your assigned home school, you'll report each morning and be flexibly reassigned to different elementary buildings across the district to meet evolving staffing needs. Your reliability and presence ensure continuity for students and support for school administrators.
What You'll Do
- Deliver daily instruction following lesson plans provided by classroom teachers
- Supervise elementary-aged students and manage classroom behavior effectively
- Create a safe, structured learning environment aligned with school policies
- Communicate with staff about student engagement and classroom activities
- Adapt your teaching approach for different grade levels and individual student needs

- Valid Ohio teaching certificate or active substitute teaching credential in elementary education
