Grand Canyon University is hiring an Adjunct ACNP Faculty member to serve as an ACNP/AGACNP PRN Clinical Evaluator in Nursing, based in Victorville, San Bernardino County. About the Role

As an Adjunct ACNP Faculty – ACNP/AGACNP PRN Clinical Evaluator, you will partner with Grand Canyon University to assess the hands-on clinical performance of Acute Care and Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner students. This is an adjunct, PRN appointment that involves regional travel so you can observe learners in real clinical environments and provide meaningful, evidence-based feedback.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel to assigned facilities or clinical sites located within approximately 60 miles of your residence in and around Victorville, California.
• Directly observe and evaluate ACNP/AGACNP students as they demonstrate clinical competencies in practice settings.
• Document student performance and deliver constructive, professional feedback aligned with program standards.
• Share your nursing expertise to support the academic and clinical development of APRN students.
• Collaborate with university faculty and program leadership to uphold high-quality educational outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active certification and licensure as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP).
• Clinical experience relevant to acute care advanced practice nursing.
• Willingness and ability to travel to clinical sites within roughly 60 miles of your home location.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to mentoring developing nurse practitioners.
