Accounts Payable Specialist – Temporary Position

HumanGood Community Support Center is hiring a full-time Accounts Payable Specialist for a temporary position in La Habra, Orange County. This three-month role is your opportunity to streamline vendor payment processes and strengthen the financial operations that support our community mission.

About the Role

In this temporary accounts payable position, you'll manage the full lifecycle of vendor invoices—from initial review through payment processing. You'll maintain meticulous AP records, collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders, and ensure our payment systems run efficiently and accurately.

What You'll Do

• Process vendor invoices with thorough review for accuracy and completeness
• Input invoices into accounting software and prepare them for approval
• Oversee the electronic approval workflow to ensure timely authorization
• Maintain organized, up-to-date accounts payable documentation
• Respond to vendor inquiries and community payment-related requests
• Support payment reconciliation and audit preparation as needed
