About the Role
As a 3 Hour Cafeteria Helper at the Newton Falls Exempted Village Schools high school, you will assist with the daily preparation and serving of meals to students and staff. This is a support staff role within the cafeteria and nutrition team, ideal for a dependable individual who enjoys working in a school environment and contributing to students' wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Help prepare, portion, and serve meals during scheduled cafeteria hours at the high school
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and serving area
- Follow food safety and health guidelines throughout each shift
- Assist with stocking, setup, and cleanup of food service stations
- Provide friendly, courteous service to students and staff
- Complete all aspects of the assigned cafeteria duties reliably and on time
Qualifications
- High school diploma required on the date of hire
- Ability to perform and complete all aspects of the cafeteria helper duties
- Dependability, attention to cleanliness, and a positive attitude toward serving students
Salary is set according to the applicable Negotiated Agreement. The position will remain open until filled.
