What You'll Do
- Supervise daily deli counter operations, including food preparation, slicing, packaging, and display
- Lead, train, and schedule deli staff to deliver consistent service and product quality
- Maintain strict compliance with food handling, sanitation, and health department standards
- Monitor inventory levels, place product orders, and maintain stock rotation
- Operate the deli counter and POS system with accuracy and speed
- Support merchandising, promotional displays, and product demonstrations
- Address customer requests and concerns with product knowledge and professionalism
- Perform deli clerk duties as needed to meet operational demands
What We're Looking For
- At least 18 years old
- Previous experience in deli, grocery retail, or food service environments
- Solid understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Comfortable managing staff and supporting team goals
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stand, lift, and work in a fast-paced retail setting
- Dependable attendance and a positive, collaborative approach
