About the Role

This is a full-time, over-the-road (OTR) CDL-A Company Driver position with U.S. Xpress - OTR, based in Georgetown, Kentucky. You'll haul dry van freight on long-distance lanes, averaging roughly 2,000 miles each week. Pay is mileage-based, ranging from 57 to 64 cents per mile depending on your experience, with a guaranteed weekly minimum of $1,500 (on a 12-days-out, 2-days-home schedule). Top-performing OTR drivers — the leading 20% — bring home around $1,700 per week. A $4,000 sign-on bonus is included for solo drivers.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a CDL-A tractor-trailer safely over long-haul OTR routes
• Transport dry van freight on time and in good condition
• Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and hours-of-service rules
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and required logs
• Communicate with dispatch to keep deliveries on schedule

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
• 1 to 5 months of recent verifiable driving experience required
• Willingness to run an OTR schedule of approximately 12 days out and 2 days home
• Commitment to safe, reliable, and professional driving
