About This Position
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Travel Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) for a 13-week contract in Baton Rouge, LA. The position is full-time and requires no remote work.
Your Responsibilities
- Perform accurate and efficient laboratory testing procedures as per established protocols and guidelines.
- Ensure all samples are properly labeled and documented to maintain accuracy and traceability.
- Adhere to safety standards and follow proper disposal methods for hazardous materials.
- Assist in the maintenance of equipment and ensure it is functioning correctly.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician, with travel experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and techniques.
- Able to work independently while adhering to strict quality control measures.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in high-pressure environments.
