Role Overview
AWWA LTD in Singapore (nationwide) (nationwide) is seeking an experienced and visionary leader to oversee the development of Physical Education (PE) and Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) programs. The ideal candidate will also provide strategic leadership for Special Needs Education Programs (SPED), ensuring that all initiatives align with the school's overarching vision.
What You'll Do
- Lead curriculum development for PE and CCA programmes, customising pedagogical approaches to meet diverse student needs.
- Mentor teaching staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth within the SPED sector.
- Coordinate school-wide initiatives that support the holistic development of students with special needs.
- Build strong partnerships with families and the community to enhance the educational experience for all students.
- Monitor instructional effectiveness and ensure alignment with the school’s vision, setting measurable goals and tracking progress.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in education, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within PE, CCA, or SPED programs.
- Demonstrated success in curriculum development and instructional design for diverse student populations.
- Strong mentoring and coaching skills to support the professional growth of teaching staff.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, with a proven track record of fostering positive partnerships within the school community.
- A deep understanding of SPED needs and best practices in inclusive education.
