The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to join our team as Director of Service, Missions, and Student Leadership at KingsWay School. This role commences in January 2027 and is based on the Hibiscus Coast of Auckland. As part of this Christian community of learning, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing young people towards their full potential as servant leaders in the Kingdom of God.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and develop comprehensive service programs that align with our Christian values
- Plan and implement mission-focused initiatives to engage students in community service
- Lead the Student Leadership program, fostering leadership skills among our young people
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to integrate service learning into the curriculum
- Manage and support student clubs and organizations that promote social responsibility and community engagement
Who We're Looking For
We are seeking an experienced leader who embodies our Christian values, possesses excellent interpersonal skills, and has a proven track record in student leadership development. Key requirements include:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within an educational setting
- Strong understanding of Christian education principles and their application to service learning
- Experience in developing and implementing comprehensive service programs
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive school culture
