The Opportunity

We are currently seeking Substitute Teachers for the 2026-27 school year at Early Learning Center (ELC) in New London, Minnesota. As a substitute teacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting our students and ensuring their educational needs are met during the absence of regular teachers.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support to students under the direction of licensed staff
• Assist with classroom management and behavior guidance
• Develop and implement lesson plans as directed by the supervising teacher
• Ensure a safe, positive learning environment for all students
• Communicate effectively with parents, students, and school personnel

Qualifications

• MN licensure required for substitute teaching
• A four-year degree is eligible to apply for MN substitute teacher license
• Demonstrated ability to work well with children in a classroom setting
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Prior experience as a paraprofessional or teacher preferred but not required
