Role Overview

We are seeking a Commis Chef to join our dynamic team at Harrison Catering Services in Hammersmith. As part of one of the UK’s leading independent catering companies, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food that meets high standards of quality and hygiene.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Assist head chefs with daily meal preparation tasks
• Prepare ingredients and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and customer preferences
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization in line with health and safety regulations
• Ensure food quality and portion sizes meet company standards
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required

Requirements

• NVQ level 2 in Professional Cookery or equivalent qualification
• Aptitude for working in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently when required
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
