What This Role Involves
Artur Express Inc. is seeking experienced Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) holders to join our team as Over the Road (OTR) Company Drivers specializing in Reefer operations. This role offers flexible pay options and the freedom to choose your preferred compensation plan, including mileage bonus plans.
Responsibilities
- Haul freight across various routes within the United States
- Operate refrigerated trailers (reefers) to maintain temperature-sensitive cargo
- Ensure safe and timely delivery of goods while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies
- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections as required by law
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, miles driven, and other relevant information
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL with appropriate endorsements (reefer endorsement preferred)
- One year of over the road driving experience required
- A clean driving record and a good safety history
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays if needed
- Strong communication skills for interaction with customers and company personnel
