The role of a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer at Robert Walters involves playing a key part in the maintenance and support of production processes. As part of a close-knit engineering team, you will be responsible for planned maintenance tasks, reactive support during unexpected issues, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that ensure smooth operation of the manufacturing plant.

Core Duties

• Performing routine and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment
• Responding promptly to breakdowns and emergencies to minimize downtime
• Participating in the development and implementation of maintenance schedules and procedures
• Contributing to the identification and resolution of process inefficiencies
• Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance activities and issues

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or similar role in manufacturing environments
• A strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork
• Ability to work on a Panama shift rota (2-week rotation covering days and nights)
