Role Overview
Critical opportunity to lead energy security and emergency response within the Energy, Climate Change and Sustainability division of DCCEEW. This is a SEB1 level position with a temporary duration until 25 October 2026.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage energy security and emergency management strategies to protect the state’s environment and heritage.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols for energy security and emergency response.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders including government agencies, industry partners, and community organizations to enhance emergency preparedness and response capabilities.
