The Opportunity
The Elton John AIDS Foundation seeks a bold, systems-minded Director of Development to build the relationships, infrastructure, and strategy behind its life-saving fundraising worldwide. This role is pivotal in driving the organization's mission to end HIV/AIDS globally.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to support the Foundation’s global initiatives.
- BUILD AND MANAGE A DIVERSE NETWORK OF DONORS, INCLUDING INDIVIDUALS, FOUNDATIONS, AND CORPORATE PARTNERS.
- LEAD THE DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT TO MAXIMIZE REVENUE AND EXPAND THE ORGANIZATION'S FUNDRAISING CAPABILITIES.
- WORK CLOSERLY WITH PROGRAM AND STRATEGY LEADERS TO ENSURE FUNDING ALIGNMENT WITH THE FOUNDATION’S GOALS.
Skills & Qualifications
- PROVEN SUCCESS IN DEVELOPMENT, RAISING OVER $10M IN AN EXECUTIVE ROLE IS DESIRED.
- STRONG LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT SKILLS WITH A HISTORY OF BUILDING HIGH-PERFORMING TEAMS.
- EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION, STRATEGIC THINKING, AND RELATIONSHIP-BUILDING ABILITIES.
- COMPETENT IN BOTH DOMESTIC AND INTERNATIONAL FUNDRAISING PRACTICES.
