We are seeking a Senior Solicitor or Associate Family Lawyer to join our vibrant team of 10 within a highly successful firm that has doubled in size over the last four years to a total team of 52. Strategically located in Papakura near the District Court, this office was established to fill a gap for high-quality legal services in the area and has flourished into a key specialist hub.

Your Responsibilities

  • Support a newly appointed Partner in a team that specializes in family law matters
  • Handle complex and straightforward family law cases, including divorce, separation, child custody, and property disputes
  • Conduct thorough case assessments and prepare comprehensive legal documents
  • Represent clients in court proceedings as required
  • Maintain client relationships through clear communication and effective case management

Skills & Qualifications

  • A qualified Solicitor or Associate with a strong background in family law
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in the field, preferably within a similar firm setting
  • Demonstrated ability to handle complex legal cases and manage multiple clients effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for client interaction and court presentations
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
  • A commitment to providing high-quality legal services in a professional manner
