What This Role Involves

At Flex, a growth-stage FinTech company headquartered in NYC, we are creating the best rent payment experience. We seek an experienced and visionary Staff Product Designer to set the bar for craft and quality across our entire product portfolio. You will drive design vision and strategy for complex, high-impact initiatives, shaping how we build for users and operate as a design function.

  • Define and articulate design vision for critical and complex product initiatives
  • Evaluate work to ensure alignment with business goals and deep resonance with our users
  • Influence product strategy and roadmap through the quality and clarity of your design work and perspective
  • Stay informed on industry trends and bring those insights into Flex
  • Own the design process end-to-end on flagship initiatives, from research to implementation

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Elevate the consumer experience by setting a north star and driving cross-functional alignment around it
  • Directly influence product strategy and roadmap through high-quality design work and perspective
  • Stay informed on industry trends and bring those insights into Flex
  • Own the design process end-to-end, from research to implementation

What You Bring

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Has experience as a Staff Product Designer in a FinTech or similar environment
  • Is visionary and can articulate design vision for complex product initiatives
  • Can drive cross-functional alignment around the consumer experience
  • Has a deep understanding of UX trends and can bring those insights into Flex
  • Owns the end-to-end design process, from research to implementation
