About This Position

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist for part-time employment in Salem, Oregon. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting student evaluations and providing therapy services according to the plan of care developed for each student. Collaboration with physicians may also be required.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive student evaluations to assess physical abilities and needs.
• Develop and document individualized therapy plans in collaboration with students, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Provide high-quality therapeutic interventions to improve students' physical function and mobility.
• Maintain accurate records of services provided and progress made by each student.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other healthcare providers regarding therapy outcomes and recommendations.

Requirements

• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Oregon or the ability to obtain one.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with pediatric patients in a school setting or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of physical therapy techniques and modalities applicable to children.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Prioritization and time management abilities to handle multiple cases efficiently.
