About the Role
We are seeking a talented and business-oriented lawyer to join our Legal team at BlaBlaCar. This role will support the rapid growth of our marketplace and international expansion. As a Legal Counsel, you will provide legal advice to our marketplace, bus, and train business teams across multiple practice areas including commercial contracts, e-commerce, consumer protection, and competition law.
Your Responsibilities
- Be a trusted advisor in multiple jurisdictions within the EU and beyond, providing creative solutions while ensuring compliance with regulations, particularly focusing on our OTA role.
- Manage any pre-litigations and litigations.
- Draft and negotiate all types of contracts, including commercial contracts and partnership agreements.
- Collaborate with internal partners, notably government relations teams.
What We're Looking For
- Strong knowledge in EU and French law; experience with foreign laws (such as Spain, Mexico, Ukraine) is a significant asset.
- A proven ability to work in a fast-growing tech company, developing a deep understanding of our product and building close connections with operational teams.
- An appetite for project management is essential.
