The Opportunity

Taylor Root is seeking a Legal Counsel for Projects & Procurement based in Singapore (nationwide) (nationwide) to support the delivery of complex developments and strategic commercial arrangements across the APAC region. This role involves advising on contractual risk allocation, governance, and dispute avoidance throughout the project lifecycle while collaborating closely with senior business leaders and project teams.

What You'll Do

• Provide legal advice on contractual risk allocation for complex projects in the APAC region.
• Collaborate with senior business leaders and project teams to ensure strategic commercial arrangements are effectively managed.
• Develop and maintain governance frameworks to support project lifecycle management.
• Lead efforts in dispute avoidance, ensuring proactive measures are taken to mitigate risks.

Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience as a Legal Counsel in projects & procurement within the construction or related industries.
• Demonstrated ability to provide strategic legal advice on complex commercial arrangements and contractual matters.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle management, governance, and dispute resolution mechanisms.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with senior business leaders and cross-functional teams.
