About the Role
We are currently seeking a Small Plant Operator to join our Whitianga Horticulture Team on a casual basis. If you enjoy working outdoors and take pride in your work, this role is perfect for you! Reporting directly to the Team Manager, you will be responsible for general green space maintenance across multiple sites in the Whitianga and Mercury Bay area.
Core Duties
- Edging (primarily with a weed eater)
- Mulching and weeding
- General plant care and maintenance tasks
The role is part-time, non-remote, and offers the opportunity to work outdoors in a rewarding environment. If you are passionate about horticulture and enjoy working with plants, this could be your ideal position.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in plant maintenance or related field is advantageous but not required
- A strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Valid New Zealand (nationwide) (nationwide) driver's license (for site-to-site travel)
