What This Role Involves

This role involves driving a dry van in an owner-operator capacity for Forward Air. You will be responsible for delivering freight to various destinations while maintaining your own truck and adhering to strict safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Drive a dry van to deliver freight across the country (OTR)
• Maintain your own truck in good working condition
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
• Ensure timely delivery of shipments while managing your schedule independently

Skills & Qualifications

• Class A CDL with appropriate endorsements
• At least 1 year of experience as an owner-operator or equivalent driving experience
• Strong knowledge of OTR routes and regulations
• Ability to manage your own schedule and business operations
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and company representatives
