About the Role
We are seeking experienced Class A CDL Owner Operators to join our team at Forward Air. As a professional truck driver with one year of experience, you will be responsible for operating dry van trucks and ensuring consistent and reliable freight delivery.
Your Responsibilities
- Operate dry van trucks on over-the-road (OTR) routes
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of your vehicle
- Pick up and deliver cargo as per the schedule provided by Forward Air
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of freight to designated locations
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on duty
- Communicate effectively with dispatch for any necessary updates or issues
Skills & Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with dry van endorsements
- One year of over-the-road driving experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Able to work independently and manage time effectively
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds (with assistance if needed)
