About This Position

The Community Projects Officer at Tiree Community Development Trust (Urras Thiriodh) will play a pivotal role in the development and delivery of community projects on the Inner Hebridean island of Tiree. The position is full-time, with flexible hours ranging between 0.6FTE to full-time, offering a competitive salary pro-rata from £33,852.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning and implementation of community projects that align with the strategic goals of Urras Thiriodh.
• Collaborate closely with local communities, stakeholders, and partners to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Manage budgets and resources effectively to deliver high-quality projects within allocated financial constraints.
• Monitor progress and evaluate the impact of community initiatives to inform future planning and improvements.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess a relevant degree in social sciences, community development, or a related field. Previous experience in project management, community engagement, or similar roles is essential. Strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups are also required.
