Build the skills for this role

Useful focus areas for this title: North American power-market structure (ISO/RTO concepts), scenario and pricing analysis, and clear executive storytelling. No certification list or costs are provided in the data.

Be ready to discuss power-market drivers in North America, how strategy informs commercial decisions at an integrated energy company, and examples of leading cross-functional analysis under uncertainty. Align answers with BP’s scale as a listed supermajor (BP) rather than generic startup stories.

Strong fit if you can own regional power strategy for a large listed energy company, work onsite in the U.S., and connect market intelligence to commercial outcomes. Thin public culture data means company fit should be validated in interviews.
