Power Distribution and Make Ready Designer (Remote)

Position Summary

We are seeking a Power Distribution and Make Ready Designer to join our team in supporting meaningful utility engineering projects. This role will involve overhead utility pole design, joint-use engineering, and NESC-compliant make-ready work.

Key Responsibilities

• Design overhead utility poles for power distribution systems
• Perform joint-use engineering to integrate multiple utilities on the same infrastructure
• Ensure all designs comply with National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) standards
• Contribute to make-ready work that prepares sites for new or modified utility installations

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Power Distribution Designer or Make-Ready Designer
• Familiarity with overhead utility pole design principles and practices
• Knowledge of National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) standards
• Strong understanding of joint-use engineering concepts
• Proficiency in relevant software tools for electrical design and drafting
• Aptitude for accuracy, attention to detail, and quality assurance
