The Opportunity
Synergy Medical Staffing is currently seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Carbondale, Illinois. This position offers a full-time commitment with a flexible schedule that includes three 12-hour shifts per week, rotating on a 3x12 basis.
Your Responsibilities
As a Travel CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines. Key responsibilities include:
- Operating advanced CT equipment to ensure accurate and efficient patient examinations.
- Maintaining high standards of patient care by providing clear instructions and ensuring patient comfort throughout the procedure.
- Documenting patient information and examination results accurately in the medical record.
- Adhering to safety protocols, including radiation protection measures for both patients and staff.
What You Bring
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- A current and valid CT Technologist license or certification in the state of Illinois.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and medical staff.
- Proficiency in operating advanced imaging equipment, including CT scanners.
