The Opportunity

This full-time Chef role with dnata catering and retail sits in Aeroglen, Cairns and places you inside the Production team. You will support consistent, quality focused culinary work in a lively kitchen that meets demanding daily requirements while building your experience with a well-regarded organisation.

Your Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a range of dishes following established recipes and presentation standards
• Uphold food safety, personal hygiene and workplace health rules throughout every shift
• Collaborate closely with Production colleagues to deliver on daily volume and timing goals
• Maintain clean, organised workstations and equipment ready for continuous service
• Track ingredient use, support stock rotation and help reduce waste

What We're Looking For

• Practical experience as a Chef in a commercial production kitchen
• Confident command of cooking techniques suited to high-volume catering
• Sound knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene practices
• Ability to stay focused and productive under pressure in a busy environment
• Clear communication and teamwork skills that fit a production setting
• Relevant culinary training or certification viewed as an advantage
