Role Overview
As the Senior Document Review Lawyer-Team Leader with AFL Recruitment you will oversee daily document review activity from a base in Melbourne CBD. Reporting to the Document Review Manager, you will manage lawyers and paralegals working on litigation and corporate review projects, applying legal technology and e-discovery methods to deliver accurate, timely results. Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of document review lawyers and paralegals on active review projects
- Report progress, risks and outcomes directly to the Document Review Manager
- Plan and manage review workflows so coding, privilege and production milestones are met
- Apply and optimise legal technology and e-discovery tools across assignments
- Provide quality assurance, coaching and clear direction to team members
- Coordinate with stakeholders to keep review outputs consistent and client-ready
Who We're Looking For
- Litigation or corporate lawyer, or former lawyer, ready to step into a team-leader capacity
- Practical experience with legal technology platforms and e-discovery processes
