About the Role

We're seeking a skilled and energetic Line Cook to work the wok station and help execute our fast-paced kitchen operations. This is a full-time position where you'll master our signature cooking techniques, maintain consistent food quality, and contribute to a collaborative kitchen environment. You'll play a key role in the dining experience at our Wichita restaurant, working alongside experienced chefs and culinary professionals to keep orders moving smoothly during busy shifts.

Your Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items using wok stations and other kitchen equipment, following established recipes and plating standards
• Maintain proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols throughout all kitchen operations
• Communicate effectively with other stations and front-of-house staff to ensure timely, accurate order fulfillment
• Monitor food inventory, report shortages, and help maintain organized prep stations
• Assist with food prep tasks including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
• Support kitchen cleaning and closing procedures at the end of each shift
• Take feedback from management and continuously improve cooking techniques and efficiency

Requirements

• Prior experience as a line cook or in a similar fast-paced kitchen role
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet high quality and speed standards
• Strong knowledge of food safety and proper handling of raw ingredients
• Physical stamina to stand, lift, and move throughout extended shifts
• Team-oriented mindset with solid communication skills
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends
• Valid food handler certification or willingness to obtain one
