About the Role

As a Merchandising Assistant Manager at Dollartree, you'll play a key role in ensuring that our stores maintain compelling, well-organized merchandise displays that drive sales and enhance the customer shopping experience. You'll support the merchandising team in implementing company standards, managing store layouts, and optimizing product placement across all departments. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with store teams to achieve merchandising goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and execution of merchandising strategies and visual displays throughout the store
• Coordinate with store management to ensure timely merchandise placement and promotional displays
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in managing merchandise flow across departments
• Maintain accurate records of merchandising activities and provide regular updates to leadership
• Train and guide store associates on merchandising standards and best practices
• Collaborate with the merchandising team to troubleshoot and resolve display and layout issues
• Ensure compliance with company merchandising policies and safety standards

Skills & Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in retail merchandising, store operations, or a related field
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency with basic computer systems and retail tools
• Physical ability to lift, bend, and move merchandise as needed
• Flexibility to accommodate store needs and operational requirements
