System Administrator

Prime System Solutions is recruiting a System Administrator to join our team in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. This full-time position offers the opportunity to manage and maintain critical IT infrastructure and systems in a professional, growing technology environment.

About This Position

As a System Administrator at Prime System Solutions in Lahore, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, maintenance, and support of computer systems, servers, and network infrastructure. You will ensure optimal system performance, security, and availability, serving as a key technical resource for internal teams and supporting business continuity across the organisation. Core Duties

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, workstations, and operating systems
• Monitor system performance and implement proactive maintenance to prevent downtime
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across the network
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues
• Perform regular backups, disaster recovery planning, and data protection procedures
• Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for continuity
• Collaborate with other IT team members to implement system upgrades and improvements
• Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in system administration or IT infrastructure management
• Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux server operating systems
• Experience with network administration and troubleshooting
• Proficiency in system monitoring, backup, and recovery tools
• Understanding of IT security principles and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
• Strong communication and documentation abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
