Sales Development Representative

Premium Merchant Funding is hiring a full-time Sales Development Representative in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Join our team and help growing merchants access the capital they need to scale their businesses.

Role Overview

As a Sales Development Representative, you'll be the front line of our growth strategy, identifying and qualifying promising business prospects and moving them through our pipeline. You'll work with established sales processes, connect with merchants across various industries, and develop strong relationships with decision-makers who are ready to explore flexible funding solutions. This is a hands-on role combining prospecting, research, and relationship-building to fuel our company's expansion in the Quebec market and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound prospecting via phone, email, and LinkedIn to identify merchants and business owners who align with our funding solutions
• Qualify inbound leads and assess business readiness for merchant funding
• Build and maintain accurate prospect records in our CRM system
• Schedule discovery calls and product demonstrations between prospects and our account executives
• Meet or exceed monthly pipeline and qualified lead targets
• Gather market feedback and competitive intelligence to inform product and messaging strategy
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to improve processes and messaging

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of sales development, business development, or inside sales experience
• Proven ability to research prospects, craft personalized outreach, and handle objections
• Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—with confidence speaking to business owners and managers
• Comfort with CRM platforms and sales tools
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Interest in financial services, merchant funding, or B2B sales—eagerness to learn the space is valued
• Legal authorization to work in Canada
