Health & Safety Manager (They/She/He)

You'll lead our health and safety initiatives across our operations, ensuring compliance, protecting our teams, and building a strong safety culture within one of the world's leading food delivery platforms.

Position Summary

We're seeking a dedicated Health & Safety Manager to develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive health and safety strategies across Delivery Hero's Barcelona operations. This is a full-time remote role where you'll play a crucial part in protecting our employees, contractors, and partners whilst fostering a workplace where safety is embedded in everything we do. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify risks, implement controls, and ensure regulatory compliance across our growing logistics and delivery network.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain health and safety policies, procedures, and standards aligned with Spanish and European regulations
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments across operations and identify mitigation strategies
• Investigate workplace incidents and accidents, determining root causes and implementing corrective actions
• Deliver health and safety training programmes to employees and contractors, promoting awareness and best practices
• Monitor compliance with health and safety legislation and maintain required documentation and reporting
• Collaborate with management and operational teams to integrate safety into business decisions and planning
• Develop and lead initiatives to strengthen safety culture and employee engagement

Who We're Looking For

• Professional qualification in Health and Safety (NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent internationally recognised certification)
• Proven experience as a Health & Safety Manager or similar role in a complex operational environment
• Strong knowledge of Spanish and European health and safety legislation
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and implement evidence-based solutions
• Proactive, organised approach with strong attention to detail
• Fluency in English required; additional language skills valued
