Brandschutztechniker (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential fire safety organization based in Niederkassel, seeking a Fire Protection Technician to join their growing team. In this role, you will conduct legally required periodic inspections of fire safety equipment across industrial, commercial, property management, and residential settings.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Testing, maintenance, servicing, and installation of fire extinguishers and fire suppression systems
• Inspection and maintenance of wall hydrants and standpipe systems
• Servicing smoke and heat exhaust ventilation systems (RWA)
• Maintaining fire doors, gates, and hold-open devices
• Supporting client training sessions on fire safety procedures
• Assisting with expert inspections according to local regulations
• Providing consultation to clients on fire protection requirements
• Sales of fire safety equipment and accessories
• Contributing to planning and design projects
• Installing safety signage and identification systems
• Working with fire alarm and detection technology

What We're Looking For

Our client welcomes both experienced professionals and career starters with completed vocational training in electrical engineering, installation trades, or general skilled trades.

Essential requirements:

• Valid Class B driving license (required); Class BE with trailer endorsement preferred
• Clean background check
• Friendly and professional demeanor with clients
• Willingness to participate in specialized training courses
• Manual dexterity and technical aptitude backed by relevant vocational training
• Experience in on-site customer service
• Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills and dedication
