SEA / Performance Marketing Manager/-in (m/w/d) mit Schwerpunk Pmax – 40-50%

About This Opportunity

We are representing a boutique digital marketing agency in the Lake Constance region of Germany. Our client is seeking a Performance Marketing Manager (SEA/PPC) to join their lean, focused team in a part-time capacity (40-50%, approximately 16-20 hours per week). This role is based in Weingarten with flexible hybrid arrangements.

This position is ideal for an experienced search marketing professional who wants substantial autonomy, direct client contact, and the ability to shape strategy across a portfolio of mid-market e-commerce accounts—without the pressure of a large-agency environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage five to eight SEA accounts with a combined annual ad spend in the high six figures
• Serve as the primary marketing contact for clients, developing goals, strategies, and optimization roadmaps collaboratively
• Build and refine search, shopping, and display campaigns in Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, including keyword research and ad copy
• Connect and maintain data sources (GA4, Merchant Center, GTM, product feeds) and ensure clean, reliable tracking
• Continuously optimize bidding strategies, ad extensions, and feeds with focus on ROAS and profitability
• Troubleshoot marketing technology issues independently; escalate complex cases to the development colleague

What We're Looking For

• Location within 50 km of Weingarten/Ravensburg (required)
• At least one year of hands-on SEA/PPC/performance marketing experience (agency or in-house e-commerce)
• Deep proficiency in Google Ads, particularly Shopping and Performance Max campaigns
• Analytical mindset with the ability to communicate insights clearly in client meetings
• Excellent written and spoken German—clear, precise, audience-appropriate
• Seeking permanent employment (not freelance)
• Bonus: prior e-commerce or shop-system experience
