Lead Frontend Engineer (Next.js, React)

Mindera is seeking a Lead Frontend Engineer with expertise in Next.js and React to join our engineering team in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This full-time position offers the opportunity to lead frontend development initiatives and shape the technical direction of our web applications.

The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced frontend engineer to take on a leadership role in our Ho Chi Minh City office. As a Lead Frontend Engineer, you'll work with Next.js and React in a collaborative environment, guiding technical decisions and contributing to the growth of our frontend capabilities. You'll have the chance to mentor team members, drive best practices, and deliver high-quality user experiences across our products.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of frontend features using Next.js and React technologies
• Architect scalable and maintainable frontend solutions aligned with business objectives
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on the frontend team
• Conduct code reviews and establish coding standards and best practices
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver cohesive solutions
• Optimize application performance and user experience across all platforms
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing initiatives

Qualifications

• Proven professional experience as a frontend engineer with deep expertise in React
• Strong proficiency in Next.js for building modern web applications
• Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring other engineers
• Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend development practices
• Experience with responsive design, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility
• Familiarity with version control systems and CI/CD workflows
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
