Role Overview

In this critical role, you will provide exceptional pharmaceutical care to patients in our inpatient pharmacy setting during evening shifts. Your expertise will play a vital part in ensuring medication safety and optimizing therapeutic outcomes for our diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

• Review and process medication orders to ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop individualized treatment plans and address medication-related concerns.
• Participate in clinical rounds to assess patient responses to medications and adjust therapies accordingly.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of all pharmacy activities and patient interactions.
• Educate patients and their families on proper medication use, storage, and potential side effects.

Skills & Qualifications

• A valid license to practice pharmacy in the state of Ohio.
• Demonstrated experience in inpatient pharmacy settings, preferably in a pediatric environment.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacotherapy principles and medication management strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
