Shift Supervisor

Jarrett is hiring a part-time Shift Supervisor to lead operations at our Old Carolina Barbecue location in Orrville, Wayne County. Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Oversee kitchen and front-of-house operations during assigned shifts
• Train, mentor, and lead team members to maintain consistent service standards
• Ensure food quality, proper preparation, and strict adherence to health and sanitation protocols
• Address and resolve customer feedback and concerns with professionalism and care
• Monitor inventory and supplies, coordinating with management as needed
• Create and maintain a positive, energetic team culture that keeps morale high during busy service periods

Requirements

• Prior experience in food service, with supervisory or leadership experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively lead a diverse team
• Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and remain composed in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and health department standards
• Availability for flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and seasonal variations as needed
• A passion for quality food service and creating a welcoming, fun atmosphere for guests and staff
