About the Role
This is an opportunity to contribute to a greenfield healthcare platform initiative within Oracle. The team prioritizes both product excellence and strategic direction, working within an entrepreneurial environment where innovation and creativity drive every decision. As a mid-level developer, you'll work on full-stack challenges that span backend systems, integration architecture, and performance optimization for mission-critical healthcare solutions.
Your Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test software components that power Oracle Health's cloud-based platforms
- Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to translate healthcare requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Contribute to architecture decisions that ensure platform reliability, security, and compliance in regulated healthcare environments
- Write clean, maintainable code and participate in peer code reviews to elevate overall team quality
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement performance improvements across the platform
- Participate in design discussions and bring technical perspective to product strategy conversations
What You Bring
- 3+ years of professional software development experience with a proven track record of shipping production systems
- Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Java, Python, Go, C++, or similar)
- Experience designing and implementing distributed systems, microservices, or large-scale applications
- Solid understanding of database design, API architecture, and cloud infrastructure fundamentals
- Excellent communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally with product, design, and operations teams
- Genuine interest in healthcare technology and the challenges of modernizing clinical workflows
