About This Position

As an In Home Caregiver with Cornerstone Caregiving, you'll provide direct, hands-on care to clients in their homes across White Cloud and the surrounding Newaygo County area. Core Duties

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing
• Provide safe mobility and transfer assistance to help clients move about their homes
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to client preferences and dietary requirements
• Manage household tasks such as light cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces
• Administer medication reminders and support medication schedules as directed
• Offer companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in meaningful conversation and activities
• Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to supervisors promptly
• Maintain accurate client care records and documentation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Physical ability to assist clients with mobility and support needs
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Clear background check and ability to pass a drug screening
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow care plans precisely
• Patience, compassion, and genuine interest in client wellbeing
• Certification as a Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant preferred
• Ability to work flexible part-time schedules
